An Afternoon With The Dahl's

We spent the afternoon out at "the farm", a few acres that Jeff's grandparents live on out in Gleed. His grandparents are in their mid-nineties and love all the life that our family brings.....a little too much maybe! We love spending time with them and with the rest of the Dahl clan. Auntie Anna took these pictures on our walk with the boys and Ruby. I love Sundays!

Looking back at these pictures reminds me of how fast our kids grow. I love the blogging for the purpose of having memories on record. I used to scrap book, but I find this way more accessible. So, I wanted to get Ruby's birth day on here. So, here are a few pictures my sweet sister in law Jen took on Ruby's birthday.

With her new tongue....she's found these very fun to suck on!

Tuesday, October 18, 2011

Little Miss Ruby Jane went in yesterday to get her tongue clipped.  I had had my suspicions for a while now and finally looked under her tongue. Sure enough, she had a "tied tongue"...at least from what I thought. The doctor agreed. Her appointment was 11:30 and we were out of there at 12:00. She was such a trooper! She's all strapped down and all smiles while the doctor looks at her needle in hand! It was enough to break any mother's heart. After he numbed the bottom of her mouth, the made a quick snip and it was done. She cried for a second and once I picked her up she was just fine. We later visited Gradma where these pictures were taken.

The Fair

Starting off at the boys' school's burger booth where they were dying to have Jeff cook for them.

Tucker was so excited and so proud.

Huddy J. getting his tat.

Grant loves Jordan.

This is so blurry, but I had to post this. This is right before Grants first ride. He was SO nervous and he couldn't quit giggling!! It was pretty funny.

This is Hudson's first ride. He was also, SO nervous and he was definitely forcing this smile!

And here is Tucker. He wasn't nervous and would have gone on the "big kid" rides if he was able. He has no fear!

My handsome guy.

Rides like these were enough for Hudson. He was so nervous each time. He is our cautious guy!

Ending the night with a serious sugar high.
